They offer a range of sounds and variety of music that is hard to find in a 6 piece band and thus provide a great value. The band selectively adds sax, flute, and mandolin when appropriate to the standard dance band instruments and tight harmonies. They are higher quality musicians than you find in your average wedding band. If you are looking for the chicken dance, look elsewhere. But the Hot Ticket will provide a tasteful mix of dance, popular, and rock music to please an all ages crowd – including other musicians. Some years back, I watched the key members of the Hot Ticket playing at the largest places at the Jersey Shore.
